With NFT FMs launch only one days away, we couldn’t be more excited. Earlier today we announced our collaboration with The Polish Ambassador. And we have another musician we’re just as excited about: an EDM artist from London, Oshi!
Meet the artist
Oshi is a 22 year old artist by the real name of Joshua Brennan who’s been gaining worldwide attention since 17. His debut in 2017 garnered viral renown when Brennan remixed “Ridin Round,” a reggae single by Kali Uchis, into an EDM hit. If you’re surprised the reggae and EDM communities can mix, you wouldn’t be the first. Today, Brennan is known for his unorthodox masterpieces that fuse genres and elude traditional music theory guidelines.
What’s not to love?
Oshi has never been one to follow the trends; in music, or otherwise. At NFT FM, we simply admire that.
An artist of many forms
Oshi continues to push the definition of what it means to be an artist. An addition to the music he creates, Oshi has also expanded into the world of visual art and graphic design.
An NFT pioneer
Oshi is also one of few artists who have been invested in cryptocurrencies since before their more recent explosion and media popularity boost. Because of his early exposure to Ethereum and Bitcoin, he was one of the first artists to begin using NFTs. Oshi’s crypto knowledge, combined with his visual art skills and experience has allowed him to sell artwork NFTs before almost everybody else.
As you can imagine, any artist making great music with an appreciation for NFTs is an artist we wanted to work with. We were ecstatic when Oshi agreed to help us launch NFT FM.
What comes next?
The day draws nearer! This Saturday, May 22, Oshi will be releasing two exclusive music pieces — TOUCH ID and here for a reason — tied to their own virtual cover arts, all on NFT FM.
We hope to see you tuning in then.
Until next time!
