What is being sold?
Every item on Fanfare is a full length musical track. Either a song or a music video, available in either editions (one of many flat price NFTs) or exclusives (one of one auctions).
Purchasing these gives you full ownership of the underlying NFT token. Artists also attach exclusive benefits to these, which can grant access to communities, exclusive merch, meet and greets, and much more!
Purchasing an NFT is a great way to show your support of the Artists you care about, get amazing perks, as well as direct access to the musicians themselves.
What’s this Blocto thing that pops up when I try to buy?
If this is your first time placing a bid on Fanfare, you will be prompted to submit a Flow Transaction to prepare your account to receive Fanfare NFTs. All you need to do is press the “Accept” button in the Blocto window and you’re good to go!
How do I actually hold my Songs?
We use the Flow blockchain wallet custodian, Blocto, to hold our NFTs.

When you win an auction, your wallet will automatically receive the NFT and you will be able to see that in your library! Congrats!
Auctions
All auctions are exclusive one-of-one content.
The artist sets a floor price for the first minimum bid. Once the first bid is placed, the auction is started. Each auction lasts 5 days, and bids placed in the last 10 minutes extend the auction by 10 minutes.
How do I bid on a Song or Video?
To make music NFTs accessible, we have integrated fiat payments with the payment processor, Stripe. This means that anyone with a credit card can participate in the exciting Fanfare Auctions!
Bidding on a Fanfare NFT is as easy as opening one of the NFT Modals on the Market Page and hitting the “Place Bid” button. You will then be prompted to enter your bid amount. Once you have done that, press “Confirm” to open the credit card input form. Once you have entered your card information, press “Submit” to place your bet! How exciting!

Editions
Editions are batches of multiple of the same NFT, sold at a flat price. The artist sets a price for their work, and then lists it directly on the Fanfare open marketplace.
Purchasing an Editionis as easy as opening one of the NFT Modals and pressing “purchase”. You will be shown the listing price, and then prompted to put in your credit card information. Payments are processed by stripe, and deposited directly to the artists account. After purchase, the NFT will be transferred directly into your library to show off to the world!
